Built for how teams call

Everything a business phone system should do.

Route every call to the right person, from the first ring to voicemail.

Auto attendant

Greet callers with a custom menu — “Press 1 for sales” — and send them to the right team.

Call queues & ring groups

Share incoming calls across a team so busy lines don’t mean missed customers.

Browser phone

Make and take calls from a web browser with your ezphony extension — no app install.

Voicemail to email

Personal mailboxes for every extension, delivered straight to your inbox.

Business hours routing

Different call flows for open hours, after hours and holidays.

SIP trunking

Already have a PBX? Connect it and choose the call capacity you need.

Plain-English pricing

Extensions, channels, trunks and numbers — explained.

These four things are often mixed up. Here’s what each one means on an ezphony plan.

Extension

A user or device

An internal number (like 101) for a person, desk phone or the browser phone. Your plan includes a set number of extensions.

Example: 12 staff each with their own line = 12 extensions.

Concurrent channel

One call at a time

The number of calls to or from outside your company that can happen at the same moment. Internal calls between extensions don’t use them.

Example: 5 channels = up to 5 outside calls at once; a 6th caller gets busy/voicemail.

SIP trunk

The connection itself

A SIP trunk is the internet connection that carries calls to the public phone network. A trunk has a number of channels — it’s not the same as a channel.

Example: one trunk sized for 10 channels.

DID

A phone number

A Direct Inward Dial number is a real phone number people can call. You can point each one to a person, team or menu.

Example: a main number plus a direct line for support = 2 DIDs.
